Meet Our Team

Our team at Pinjarra Veterinary Hospital understand that your pets are a truly important part of your family, and that trust is a key factor in the relationships we build with our clients. So we'd like you to know a little bit about us, the team you are trusting with the health and safety of your beloved pets.

Dr Susan and Aaron Bilbow

Practice Owner (B.V.Sc. (hons))

Dr Susan Bilbow has been one of our resident veterinarians since 2012.
She purchased the clinic in 2013 with her husband Aaron, after the birth of their youngest child. Together they have seen the clinic grow from a mixed practice to the current Small Animal Hospital that it is today.
Susan and Aaron are ruled by 2 dogs (Harold and Patches) and 2 horses (Max and Asaad).

Practice Manager

I started working at Pinjarra Vets in 2017 as a receptionist with no previous experience within the veterinary industry but had been in many managerial and reception roles. Since being at the clinic, I've not looked back! I've always had an incredible respect for animals due to their unconditional love and their ability to heal our soul. I am so greatful to work in an environment that allows me to help all these beautiful creatures!
I grew up in New Zealand and have spent a lot of my life exploring our magnificent planet. I have two beautiful girls and an amazing partner at home, as well as 1 dog (Rebel), 3 cats (Airess, Ziggy and Minx) and 2 horses.
Outside of work I love renovating my house, spending time with family and always keeping busy with creative projects.

Alexandra (Ali)

Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV Veterinary Nursing)

My names Ali, I joined the Pinjarra Vet team in 2012 as a receptionist, before starting my Veterinary Nursing traineeship on my 18th birthday and graduating in 2015. There are so many things I love about being a Veterinary Nurse, but I have a particular interest in senior pets and their healthcare, I just can't get enough of their little grey faces!
I was born and raised in Pinjarra (minus some years spent in the Pilbara) and have always loved the area!
I have grown up with a love for all animals, and I currently share my life with two cats - Ginger and Gus and two dogs - Hank and Rebel.
Outside of work I enjoy travelling and staying active by long hikes with my dogs. In the future I look forward to exploring more of the world and furthering my skills and experience as a Veterinary Nurse.

Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV Veterinary Nursing)

Meet Mikayla,
I graduated as a Veterinary Nurse in December 2017 after starting at Pinjarra Vets in 2014 as a vet nurse student. For as long as I can remember I have been passionate about animals and their healthcare. I have a cat by the name of Kaspa, who I madly adore! I rescued Kaspa as a stray when he was only 8 weeks old.
I would love to do some travelling in the future, and hopefully help some animals in need along the way.

Veterinary Nurse (Trainee)

Hi, my name is Peta & I’m a Trainee Veterinary Nurse at Pinjarra Veterinary Hospital. I’ve been here since September 2017, prior to this I worked casually at a mixed animal clinic for 2 & 1/2 years.
After some health issues with Zinger my quarter horse in 2014, I realised that I had a passion for animal healthcare and the upmost respect for what Veterinary staff do everyday. I was always so fascinated in the way the vet team would work, always asking questions. I was so intrigued that this was enough for me to apply for the certificate 4 in Veterinary nursing course in 2015 via South Metro Tafe and its been the best thing I’ve ever done! When not at work I’m kept very busy with my 3 English Bull Terriers (Major, Chillie & Bonnie), 3 horses (Zinger, Zach & Chaos) & my Stimson Python, Bliss. If you have a Bull Terrier that comes to our clinic, you’d have probably met me.
